- פַּרְדַּכְתְּm. (Pers. pardâkhta, Perl. Et. St. p. 18) idle, man of leisure, one exempt from state taxes. B. Bath.55a פ׳ מסייע מתא a pardakht is bound to contribute towards the maintenance of the local institutions.
